We are seeking a dedicated Fire Surveyor for a permanent position with a well known housing association based in South Manchester - One Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest fire safety standards across a portfolio of residential properties in the Manchester area.\n\nClient Details\n\nOne Manchester own and manage over 12,000 homes in central, south and east Manchester. We focus on improving our communities by offering a range of services, including employment opportunities, building new developments, and ensuring our customers have safe homes to live in.\n\nDescription\n\nConduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by care takers/ external providers on One Manchester's housing stock\nProducing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations\nPre & Post works sign off\nEnsuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations.\nProviding fire safety advice and training to staff and residents.\nWorking closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies.\nManaging fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion.\nKeeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.\nContributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures.\nSupporting the wider building safety team.\nProviding Technical Support.\nEngaging with customers.\nContractor management.Profile\n\nRelevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications\nExperience working in a similar role for a residential provider\nThorough understanding of fire safety within social housing\nManagement of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nExcellent IT skillsJob Offer\n\nA competitive salary of up to £46,000\n35 hrs/wk\n27 days annual leave + bank holidays\nMatched contribution pension schemes\nOther additional company benefits\nCareer growth and development opportunities\nFlexible role with home working
