Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires patience and the ability to manage classroom dynamics, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our nursery setting. Please note, This is an apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto The Level 2 Early Years Course and receive the qualification, upon completion.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure that all children are engaged and participating.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, including outdoor activities and community engagement.
* Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and support each other's professional development.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
* A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
