Job Description: Customer Service - Personal Banker - Mobile Bank, Ullapool
Join us as a Customer Service, Personal Banker in Ullapool. You’ll be integral to guiding and supporting our valued customers, helping them to achieve their financial goals wherever they’re based. You’ll play a key role in supporting our local Branch and Mobile Bank team, delivering banking services to our customers.
In addition to around 100 hours of high-quality training, we’ll support you to achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking and your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Please note, this job does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements.
What you'll do
Bringing our services to remote locations, customers will be at the very heart of your role. You’ll be committed to providing outstanding service in every interaction. You’ll become a trusted figure in your communities, building relationships with customers in a range of locations and helping with everyday banking needs.
You'll spend most of your time supporting customers at the local branch and will also drive the Mobile Bank vehicle at least once per month to provide cover when the principal driver is out of the business.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
* Having proactive conversations, understanding customer needs, and assisting with banking requests such as payments, balance inquiries, and transfers
* Working with high accuracy to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
* Keeping up to date with vehicle and driver legislation changes
* Ensuring the Mobile Bank vehicle's safe operation, compliance with health and safety regulations, and roadworthiness
The skills you'll need
You need to be over 25 and have held a valid driving license for 2 years to drive our Mobile Branch vehicle. An existing category C1 license is preferred, but we will provide training and cover costs if you don't have one. We’ll also support you in achieving your CPC.

Additional information
Your working pattern will be flexible, typically during branch hours (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday), with rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays. Your training journey begins with comprehensive onboarding, ongoing coaching, and external qualifications to support your career growth.
