A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Preston, initially on a 12 month FTC. This is a true generalist role where you will work as part of an established people team, playing a key role in shaping the people strategy, supporting managers, and delivering an excellent HR service to the business. Key Responsibilities: Support with employee relations cases such as performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness absence Advise Managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law Produce HR reports with analysis for the Management team Assist with recruitment, including job descriptions, adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation Work with Managers to understand training needs and create relevant content Support the broader people team on a variety of HR projects This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Advisor who has strong employment law knowledge, along with excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
