The purpose of this role is to design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes that enhance the commercial performance, client acquisition capability, and business development skills of financial advisers. This role ensures that advisers have the knowledge, confidence, and techniques required to grow their client base ethically, sustainably, and in line with regulatory expectations. As our Advice Business Growth Trainer, you will typically: Design and deliver structured training programmes tailored to advisers at different stages of experience, building and developing relevant skills to ensure good outcomes for our clients Develop supporting materials, toolkits, exercises and case studies that enhance practical application, and ensure all content is compliant with FCA regulations and internal policies Work closely with advisers to understand individual strengths, weaknesses and growth opportunities Develop coaching plans aimed at improving appointment conversion, client retention and business efficiency Track adviser progress and provide feedback to line managers Use insight from sales performance data, compliance data, adviser feedback and market trends to refine training programmes Evaluate effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, such as conversion rates, new client acquisition and adviser confidence indicators Work with our partner training company to design and deliver high quality, engaging training sessions focused on business growth Travel to other sites nationwide may be required. What we are looking for in our ideal Advice Business Growth Trainer: Proven experience of delivering training and coaching within a financial services or regulated environment Strong understanding of financial advice models and the adviser/client relationship Familiarity with FCA Conduct Rules and expectations around ethical client acquisitions Level 4 Diploma qualified in Regulated Financial Planning would be an advantage Strong understanding of sales principles, client psychology and customer relationship management Proven experience of increasing business growth through delivering coaching and training Excellent presentation and engaging facilitation skills – through virtual, digital and face to face mechanisms Proficient in using training software and tools.
