About The Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to assist the Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in maintaining effective, compliant operation of specialist MHRA-licensed facility, and associated international shipping/logistics, in relation to high-value pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

What will your job look like?


* Prepares products for dispatch including picking, packing, temperature-controlled packaging, and creating delivery documentation
* Receives and checks stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and promptly addressing any discrepancies or damages
* Stores and handles products safely using appropriate equipment and in line with temperature and storage requirements
* Adheres to all systems and processes to meet quality standards and maintain compliance with GDP and other regulations
* Maintains a strong understanding of customer requirements, logistics providers, supply chain routes, and import/export regulations
* Coordinates with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and compliant product delivery
* Supports resolution of supply chain issues with efficient, compliant solutions that enhance customer service
* Assists with audits, stock rotation, inventory checks, and packaging material levels; deputises for Logistics Manager as needed
* Completes quality-related tasks (e.g., cleaning, temperature logging), uses internal systems (NAV, FMD, Hanwell), and maintains accurate records
* Promotes continuous improvement, works collaboratively across departments, and undertakes training and other duties as required

What will you need to succeed?

* Previous experience in a similar role, GDP and GMP experience in the Pharmaceutical industry an advantage
* Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments, particularly with ambient/chilled supply chain
* Strong understanding of quality standards and compliance record-keeping
* Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) is a plus
* Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently
* Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure
* Forklift licence preferred
