Overview
A member of the Seqirus Global Communications team, the Associate Director – Internal Engagement leads global employee communications and engagement across Seqirus, strengthening culture, alignment and connection to business priorities. The role translates CSL and Seqirus strategy, values and brand positioning into clear, timely, and relevant employee and leadership communications that support performance, change and organisational effectiveness.
Acting as a strategic communications business partner to the Seqirus Head of HR, the role supports leadership messaging, engagement and change initiatives across the employee lifecycle and leads local implementation for manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute an integrated employee communications strategy aligned with Seqirus and enterprise-wide objectives.
* Lead the development and regular review of the overarching global communication plan for employees, incorporating aligned messaging for each global function and major manufacturing sites.
* Provide end‑to‑end communications leadership for the Seqirus Leadership Forum, including agenda development, messaging, executive support and follow‑up communications.
* Lead development and execution of regular business updates, rolling messages, talk points and Q&A for dissemination to the Leadership Forum.
* Lead ongoing development and education of employee communications policies, processes and workflows and build employee communications capabilities across the organisation.
* Serve as the primary communications business partner to the Seqirus Head of HR and HRLT, providing strategic counsel on leadership messaging, engagement, budget, change and business priorities.
* Ensure enterprise global and regional communication campaigns and initiatives are effectively localized for Seqirus employees.
* Oversee and manage Seqirus site communications leads.
* Partner closely with HR and Business Leaders to drive global internal engagement initiatives that strengthen employee connection to the company’s mission and performance objectives.
* Plan and deliver key global engagement moments, including town halls, leadership forums, VIP visits and fireside chats.
* Build communication capability for leaders to enhance their effectiveness as internal influencers and motivators.
* Support site leadership teams in planning visitor engagements and key stakeholder moments to reinforce commercial, operational and reputational objectives.
* Guide and oversee site-level public affairs, community engagement and local communications activities in coordination with Corporate & External Affairs colleagues.
* Ensure consistent, high-quality content across CSL and Seqirus owned channels including intranet, enterprise platforms and employee communications tools.
* Establish and track communications metrics and insights to continuously improve engagement and effectiveness.
Travel Requirements
Ability/willingness to travel to other CSL sites globally.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field is required; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
Experience Requirements
* 10+ years in internal communications, preferably within manufacturing, R&D or highly regulated environments.
* Experience leading teams.
* Proven experience advising senior leaders and managing communications in complex, matrixed organisations.
* Experience in change and transformation communications, issues management and crisis preparedness.
* Pharma, biotech or similarly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
Work Arrangement
The role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week at the Maidenhead Head Office.
