About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced TeamLead – Business Support to join our Aged CareServices team. This position provides strategic and operationalleadership across business support, administrative and reportingfunctions, ensuring systems and practices are efficient, compliant,and aligned with the delivery of high-quality, person-centredcare.

In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining businessand administrative processes to improve efficiency andeffectiveness, overseeing accurate and timely billing and claims tomaximise revenue and support cash flow, and ensuring the deliveryof trusted, timely reporting that provides a single source of truthfor operational and financial performance. Working collaborativelywith key internal and external stakeholders, you will establishfeedback mechanisms to identify, understand and resolve complexbusiness challenges, driving continuous improvement across theservice.

The Team Lead will also play a key role in the development,implementation and enhancement of systems, processes and tools thatdemonstrate compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatoryrequirements. A strong focus on quality improvement, innovation andevidence-based practice will underpin your leadership approach,supporting improved service outcomes for clients and operationalexcellence for the organisation.

This position manages a team comprising Business SupportOfficers and Business Support Administrators with responsibilitiesshared across our West Perth Head Office andWembley site.


About you

We are seeking a motivated and capable leader with demonstratedexperience in managing business support or administrative functionswithin a complex service environment. Strong analytical,organisational and communication skills, together with a provenability to lead teams, optimise processes and use data to informdecision-making, will be essential to success in this role.Experience within the Aged Care or community services sector willbe highly regarded.

Key skills will include:

* Tertiary qualification in a relevant business, managementor information technology discipline (or equivalentexperience)
* Strong project management skills across the projectlifecycle.
* Ability to interpret legislation, standards and policy, andtranslate into practical systems/processes.
* High level analytical skills with proficiency inspreadsheets and data/reporting systems.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflictresolution skills (includingde‑escalation).
* Proven team leadership, coaching and performance managementcapability.
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6months)
* Drivers licence
