The Role
We are looking for an experienced Real Estate / Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join a reputable Partner and their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate Finance Partner, where you will play a key role within the team. You will support fee earners while also being actively involved in transactions from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all stages of Real Estate and Real Estate Finance transactions, along with at least one year of experience in Property Law, ideally gained in a Paralegal role.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Previous experience working as a Real Estate or Real Estate Finance paralegal is essential.
* Opening and closing of files
* Drafting client care letters
* Conducting compliance, KYC and ID checks
* Dealing with redemptions and further advances
* Carrying out property searches and liaising with the Land Registry.
* Completion and post completion administration; to include companies house and Land Registry applications
* Diary Management (inputting deadlines and remainders)
* Monitor emails and respond where necessary and applicable
* Preparing Lease Reports and other document summaries
* Scheduling Title Deeds and Documents
* Applying for official copy register entries from Land Registry
* Recording all client and matter details on the case management system, ensuring details are kept up to date
Day-to-day Duties:
* General administration and support
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Making effective use of information and case management/filing systems
(whether electronic or hard copy), including storing and retrieving information
* Assisting with file opening and the financial management of matters
* Taking detailed instructions from fee earners and providing regular updates on progress
* Interacting with clients directly, under supervision
* Managing case timelines and key deadlines
You will have strong experience using Microsoft office, Adobe, DocuSign and more.
You will be pro-active, efficient, organised, keen to take the initiative and to drive transactions forward.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Diligent and hard-working
* Strong attention to detail
* You will be able to work independently and manage your time effectively in order to hit deadlines
* You will be a team player and be willing to help colleagues appropriately
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload
* Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is required
* You will have a strong academic background and a degree in law or completion of the law conversion course
