We are working with an established control system integrator to recruit a Lead Control System Engineer.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with some travel for commissioning (less than 20% of the year). You will be leading a team to deliver Turnkey Control & Automation Projects within diverse environments.
There is a real sense that developing people goes beyond the usual lip service. Beyond being an IET enterprise partner a whopping 15% of engineers are on long term training – this is proper structured training that goes beyond the 3 day Siemens or EPLAN course you might be sent on.
The company also has an internal academy to support your development so you can progress – there are several defined paths to move forward – within engineering or applications or service. In fact the vast majority of these roles have come about through mobility – people getting promoted or moving into new areas.
Experience we are looking for:
– Siemens / Rockwell PLC software design capability without the use of a library or set design standards.
– Electric Design
– Control System software design specification.
– Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
– Production and review of technical documentation
– System commissioning
– Supervision and coaching of junior staff, including technicians, graduates and apprentices
Package:
Earn up to £60k a year as a basic salary (depending on your experience).
