Purchase Ledger Assistant, Stoke-on-Trent, Up to £26,500 per year The Role We’re working with a growing business in Stoke-on-Trent that’s looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their accounting team. It’s a great opportunity for someone who already has some purchase ledger experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive team environment. Our client is continuing to grow, offering a stable role with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills within finance. What You’ll Be Doing * Match, batch and coding invoices * Allocating invoices to the correct accounts * Setting up new suppliers * Supporting with supplier payment runs * Posting direct debits * Reconciling supplier statements * Processing staff expenses * Investigating and resolving invoice queries * Managing the purchase ledger inbox and responding to queries What They’re Looking For * Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role * Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with queries * Excellent attention to detail * Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills What’s On Offer * Salary £25,000 - £26,500 per annum * Friendly and supportive finance team * A growing business with opportunities to develop If you are interested in this role or would like to know more about the position, please call Amy or Nicola on (phone number removed) or forward your CV.
