Male SEN Teaching Assistant – Ascot (SL5)
Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Placement
Pay: £85 – £110 per day
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A friendly and inclusive school in Ascot (SL5) is seeking a Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and socially. You’ll work closely with teachers and the SEN department to provide personalised support and create a positive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and social-emotional needs
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
* Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
* Support pupils during lessons and in social settings to promote inclusion
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure progress
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* Calm, resilient, and adaptable approach to challenges
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
* Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model
