Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive - 2 years+ PQE - Midsomer Norton
Location: Midsomer Norton (Hybrid option available)
Hours: Full time or part time (flexible working arrangements considered)
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 DOE
PQE: 2 years+
Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established high street law firm in Somerset, currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their busy Midsomer Norton office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with solid experience in Private Client work to take the next step in their career. You'll be joining a friendly, community-focused team with a strong local reputation and a supportive working environment.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
* Advising on Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
* Handling probate and inheritance matters
* Trusts experience desirable but not essential
* Delivering high standards of client care
* Supporting marketing and business development initiatives
* Contributing to the growth of the department
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with at least 2 years PQE. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for marketing
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Desire to contribute to departmental growth
Working Arrangements
* Based in the firm's Midsomer Norton office. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, and flexible working arrangements will be considered.
