We are recruiting a full or part‑time Optometrist for an independent optical practice based in Bexhill‑on‑Sea, East Sussex.
Role
* Provide 30‑minute tests to patients of all ages.
* Conduct 13 tests a day, two 15‑minute short appointments and two 15‑minute catch‑up breaks.
* Perform contact‑lens work.
* Specialist clinics – glaucoma.
* Enjoy a nice, relaxed environment – not target driven.
* Work with OCT, Topcon Retinal Imaging, Optos Daytona, DNEye scanner, slit lamps and Volk instruments.
* Utilise Optix software.
* Receive excellent support from qualified dispensing opticians.
* Flexible working days from 09:00 to 17:15 (most Saturdays required).
Candidate
* Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
* Newly qualified optometrists will be considered.
* Demonstrates a caring attitude towards patients.
* Enthusiastic and willing to input new ideas.
* Balances commercial and clinical duties.
Salary and Package
* Annual salary between £45,000 and £60,000.
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
* No work on Sundays or bank holidays.
* In‑house organised CET training.
