You will be working on behalf of Hays for a well-established and reputable new-build housing developer operating in the Staveley area. The site is approaching key handover stages, and the team requires additional freelance support toplete finishing and snagging works to a high standard.
Your new role
As a Freelance Handyperson, you will be responsible for a wide range of finishing duties across new-build plots, including:Paint touch‑ups and patch repairsMastic/sealant workBasic joinery tasksMinor plaster/filler workGeneral snagging and quality finishingCleaning and preparing homes ready for customer handoverSupporting the site team with any additional tasks as requiredThis role requires someone who can work independently, manage their own workload, and maintain a professional standard throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a handyperson or finishing role on new build developmentsStrong painting, patching, and mastic skillsAbility to deliver high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detailOwn tools and transportReliability, professionalism, and ability to start immediately
