An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Administrator join my clients highly regarded team in their Nottingham offices on a hybrid basis.
My client is a top national law firm with a rich history, this role is working within their private client team and offers a very competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* preparing tax returns, payments and reports (including timely production of quarterly and annual tax reports)
* Working with clients and internal company departments
* assessing and researching tax issues to identify solutions
* researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation
* identifying tax savings and recommending strategies in relation to the same
* maintaining knowledge of industry trends, tax laws and regulations
* communicating tax implications to clients
* developing strong working relationships with clients, including understanding their business practices and specific tax information needs
* ensuring all financial practices and records comply with accepted accounting standards
* forecasting tax predictions
Skills And Experience
* strong business acumen
* analytical and technical expertise
* Working towards ATT / CTA qualification or similar
* The ability to undertake analysis of complex tax problems, providing interpretation and making recommendations
* Experience in IHT, trusts, estates, CGT
* Strong team player able to work collaboratively
