Core Subject Tutor – Failsworth (M35)
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable tutors in Failsworth (M35) to provide 1:1 support in core subjects including Maths, English and Science. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils boost their skills, rebuild confidence, and make real progress outside the classroom.
You’ll be working with learners who may have missed school, need extra support, or require a tailored approach due to additional needs. Sessions are face-to-face and delivered either at home or in local community venues.
What the role involves:
* Delivering engaging 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, and Science
* Tailoring lessons to individual needs, ages, and abilities
* Encouraging confidence, motivation, and re-engagement with learning
* Recording progress and providing constructive feedback
What we’re looking for:
* Experience teaching or tutoring young people
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
* A patient, supportive, and flexible teaching style
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
