The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit has one current vacancy for a Clinical Educator and is seeking a high-performing Nurse to join our dynamic, innovative, and rapidly expanding team.
About the Unit
Our unit has 12 Cardiac Intensive Care beds, providing top-quality, modern facilities for the management of cardiac and thoracic surgery.
Role Responsibilities
You will support the Band 7 Clinical Educator, Senior Sisters, and Matron to empower the team to maintain the delivery of patient-focused, compassionate care. Your role will include providing advice and training solutions that meet organisational, professional, and individual development needs.
The post holder will be responsible for the continued development of evidence-based critical care nursing practice within CICU. You will use your expertise to support and act as a resource for both senior and junior staff, demonstrating a commitment to Critical Care Nursing and unit philosophy through a framework of Clinical Governance.
Additionally, you will be expected to take on the roles and responsibilities of a Sister / Charge Nurse and will regularly coordinate the unit.
