Are you a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience working in power generation, heavy manufacturing or a process plant environment?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist thermal renewable power generation facility near Lutterworth.
Working as part of the site maintenance team, you will help keep the plant operating safely, reliably and efficiently. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support inspections, outages and plant improvement projects.
The role would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, Plant Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role
As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of the site maintenance team to maximise plant availability and reduce equipment downtime.
You will maintain a range of industrial equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, motors, valves, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and wider process plant machinery.

What Were Looking For
We are looking for a practical, safety-conscious engineer with strong mechanical maintenance experience gained within an industrial environment.
You will ideally have:
Experience gained within power generation, renewable energy, chemicals, refining, steel, utilities or heavy manufacturing would be particularly relevant.
Knowledge of steam systems, water treatment, pressure systems, lifting equipment or Piranha CMMS would be advantageous but is not essential. IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would also be beneficial.
About You
You will be a reliable and practical engineer who enjoys investigating faults, completing effective repairs and helping to improve plant performance.
Previous experience within this specific type of power plant is not essential. However, you must have credible mechanical maintenance experience and be comfortable working on industrial equipment within a live, safety-critical process environment.
