Business Ethics & Integrity Manager Salary: £35,200 - £45,700 Location: Cambridge/Hybrid. (minimum 2 days in the office per week) Business Unit: Legal & Business Affairs Contract: Full time, Permanent (35 hours per week) Are you passionate about doing business ethically? As our new Business Ethics & Integrity Manager, you will sit at the heart of a complex, global organisation, bringing specialist expertise that protects us, enables our growth, and ensures we continue to deliver impact where it matters most. About the role The Business Ethics and Integrity Manager plays a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation's human rights, ethics, safeguarding, and compliance framework. This role directly supports the Global Director, Business Ethics and Integrity, helping ensure Cambridge meets its regulatory obligations and lives up to its ethical commitments. The postholder leads and supports work across human rights risk‑management, modern slavery compliance, safeguarding, Speak Up investigations, training development, and risk governance, while collaborating widely across Sustainability, Environment, Procurement, and the broader Legal & Business Affairs team. Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include: * Creation and implementation of human rights risk‑management policies, embedding them into core business functions such as Risk, Compliance and Operations. * Conducting human rights impact assessments, due‑diligence activities, to effectively screen suppliers, customers, and partners for human rights risks. * Track KPIs on human rights performance and monitor progress against corporate commitments. * Provide logistical and administrative support for global safeguarding activities and Speak Up investigations. * Contribute to building organisational competence and confidence in ethical practices and human rights awareness. This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: * Applied, in‑depth understanding of ESG, Business Ethics, Human Rights and the Modern Slavery Act, * Strong analytical skills, * The ability to review, interpret and present data * Excellent oral and written communication skills, * Judgement to balance legal, ethical, operational and commercial considerations * You will also need to demonstrate cultural awareness, have experience of handling confidential and sensitive information, and the ability to work flexibly across multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
