We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate qualified nurse to join the treatment room in our friendly, busy GP surgery in Barnstaple.
You will work 27 hours per week. Your working pattern will be:-
Monday 8.30am - 1pm, Tuesday 8.30am - 6pm, Wednesday 9am - 7pm and Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm.
You will be working as a member of our Nursing team working alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team including GPs and nurse practitioners.
We would be keen to hear from qualified nurses with experience and skills in the areas outlined in the job description.
Pay is from £17.00 - £19.20 per hour depending on previous experience and qualifications.
Closing date 18th May and interviews to be held on 1st June 2026.
Main duties of the job
Looking for a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team to provide excellent patient care.
You will need to have understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure.

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for the delivery of the Practice's Nursing Services working as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring provision of high standard of patient care.
To work closely with all clinicians and admin staff to ensure accuracy and safety of procedures and working practice.
To provide high quality, patient centred nursing care including treatment room services, vaccinations, health screening, wound care and health promotion.
