Key Areas of the Role Purpose As a Mobile Security Officer, the role involves providing mobile security services and world-class client service excellence across a portfolio of client sites within a designated geographical area. Responsibilities include: The role involves carrying out a variety of mobile security tasks, including Locks/unlocks of premises, providing Escort services for clients or assets, responding promptly to Alarm responses, conducting thorough Vacant property inspections, and performing regular Patrols to ensure site security. Additionally, the officer will undertake Other mobile services as directed by the Deputy Branch Manager, maintaining flexibility and adherence to company standards. The primary goal is to protect clients’ people, property, and assets while upholding Securitas core values : The role requires individuals to consistently demonstrate Integrity, ensuring honesty and strong moral principles in all actions. They must maintain Vigilance, staying alert and attentive to potential risks or security concerns at all times. Additionally, showing Helpfulness is essential, providing support and assistance to clients, colleagues, and the public whenever needed. Responsibilities Deliver a range of mobile security services, including locks/unlocks, patrols, alarm responses, inspections, and escort services. Maintain a professional and helpful attitude, follow team leader instructions, and wear the company uniform with SIA licence and ID. Manage vehicles with proper handover and checks, drive safely following the Highway Code, and uphold the company’s reputation. Ensure key management compliance, complete assignments with risk assessments, and escalate incidents such as break-ins, health and safety issues, or traffic accidents. Accurately report using GRS/SMP, comply with SOPs and driver guidelines, and remain flexible to work across districts and assist other branches. Additional Responsibilities Incident Reporting: Escalate incidents, risks, breakdowns, and RTAs (Road Traffic Accidents) to the Team Leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy.
