This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Employment Lawyer to play a key leadership role within a successful and well-respected Employment department, helping to drive growth while working on high-quality and complex employment matters.
The Role
* Assisting in the expansion and strategic growth of the Employment team
* Managing a varied caseload of complex, contentious, and non-contentious employment matters
* Advising corporate clients and individuals on a broad range of employment law issues
* Handling complex Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination and unfair dismissal matters
* Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies, and procedures
* Managing all aspects of Employment Tribunal litigation, including:
o Particulars of Complaint
o Grounds of Resistance
o Preliminary Hearings
o Case management steps
o Witness statements
o Trial bundles
* Advising on employment issues arising from corporate and commercial transactions, including TUPE matters
* Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to deliver comprehensive legal services

Key Responsibilities
* Leading on business development initiatives and networking activities
* Developing and nurturing strong client relationships

* Managing Employment Tribunal matters from instruction through to conclusion
* Staying up to date with developments in employment legislation and case law

About You
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, ambitious, and ready to take on a senior leadership role. You will have:
* Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Employment Law
* Experience operating at Senior Associate, Legal Director, or Partner level (or ready to step up)
* Strong Employment Tribunal experience
* Proven business development and networking capabilities
* Ideally, an existing client following or a strong referral network
* Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Strong drafting and advocacy skills
* Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
* Commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills
* Ability to work independently while supporting wider team growth
* A proactive and professional approach
