About the Role As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our Client’s Procurement Strategy, ensuring project requirements are met and best value deals are negotiated. You'll be predominantly responsible for materials procurement, working closely with project teams and the wider procurement community. This is a fast-paced environment where your organisational skills, commercial awareness, and ability to influence will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage Procurement Programmes and Strategies * Proactively manage and deliver the Procurement Schedule, meeting agreed timescales and milestones * Lead the tender/ITT process, evaluate supplier bids, and process orders via ERP systems * Report and track savings, contributing to overall project and company targets * Apply legal terms and conditions, agreeing to simple changes as appropriate * Manage key Subcontractor performance and lead supplier performance scoring * Create and present Procurement Reports * Collaborate effectively with project teams and central category management What You Need to Bring: * Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels * A can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in! * Basic Category Management knowledge and experience setting up and running successful tenders/ITTs * Working knowledge of ORACLE * Procurement experience on a large, flagship project * Ability to understand customer and business needs in a demanding Alliance environment * Strong commercial awareness, organisation, and time management skills * Proven track record of negotiating complex, high-value deals and delivering validated savings We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
