HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSISTANT

DORCHESTER

Temporary to a fixed term contract after 12 weeks

£15.06 per hour

Mon to Fri 08.30am 16.30pm or 09.00am to 17.00pm

37 hours per week

Do you hold a full UK driving licence and own car?

Happy to travel to various locations across Dorset & Wiltshire?

Our client is seeking a HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSISTANT to join them on a temporary to a fixed term contract after 12 weeks. To provide administrative support, assessor resource (ISO 45001 & Display Screen Equipment) and project team capacity to the Health and Safety team. A DBS Check will be carried out.

* To provide a wide range of administrative services to support to the Health and Safety department which includes taking minutes at meetings, diary/travel arrangements, word processing and document production, database management and RIDDOR reporting among other general administrative duties.
* To act as a point of contact for the department and provide appropriate support to staff to follow established H&S procedures and systems.
* To maintain and interrogate data systems, ensuring the integrity and safekeeping of all data.
* Produce draft performance reports with all available service source data. Set a good example in relation to health and safety.

Due to the nature of this company, they do require you to be able to produce evidence of the following:

* 4 GCSEs to include English and Maths C or above
* A-level or NVQ qualification
* CV must show previous Health and Safety admin experience

Candidates must hold:

* Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
* Full UK Driving Licence and own Car
