Kitchen Team Leader – St Andrews – Premier Inn
Join our team at Premier Inn St Andrews as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career. You’ll manage the kitchen daily – overseeing rotas, food orders, leading during busy services, and maintaining audit standards. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for those aiming to become a Head Chef.
PAY RATE:
Up to £13.81 per hour
HOURS:
30 hours per week across 5 days, including evenings and weekends, with guaranteed hours to plan your week ahead

What you’ll do:
As a Kitchen Team Leader, take the next step in your Chef career. You’ll oversee the kitchen, lead the team, prepare and serve our menu, and ensure standards are met.
• Manage food ordering, stock control, and food costs for the hotel
• Lead during service – organizing the team, managing workflow, and ensuring smooth operations
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to standard – from breakfast to pub classics
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards – training the team and keeping records
• Step into shift leadership and help new team members settle in
• Learn kitchen management skills to prepare for more senior roles as you develop your career
