Mechanical Maintenance Engineers Location: CannockShifts: Continental 1 x 4 on / 4 off (Days Only) 1 x 4 on /4 off (Nights Only)Hours: 12-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch)About the Role Were looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our team, working on a continental shift pattern. You'll report directly to the Departmental Engineer and play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and improving our production equipment.What Youll Be Doing Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspectionsResponding promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtimeReporting parts used to maintain adequate stock levelsInvestigating breakdown causes and proposing long-term solutionsInstalling, modifying, and commissioning plant equipment (to regulations)Supporting apprentice trainingOccasionally covering call-outs and working overtime when requiredWhat Were Looking For Qualifications: C&G Part 3 or ONC/HNC in Mechanical EngineeringExperience: Time-served apprenticeshipStrong fault-finding skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systemsProficiency in reading engineering drawingsHands-on experience with motors, gearboxes, drives, and cranesComfortable working independently or as part of a teamDesirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in a foundry environmentForklift, access equipment, or banksman certificationCompetence in operating lathes, milling machines, and grindersWhat We Offer Holiday Entitlement: 23 days (15 standard + 8 statutory), increasing with service (pro-rata in year 1)Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolment with employer and employee contributions at 2%Life Insurance: 2x salaryBonuses:Track & SFPB bonuses (based on output)Christmas bonusJoin a team where your technical skills are valued, your contributions are recognized, and where there's real opportunity to make a difference.Apply today to become part of our forward-thinking maintenance team.TPBN1_UKTJ
