Head of Business Systems & IT – Leading Law Firm
A leading law firm is seeking a senior IT leader to drive the strategy, management, and evolution of its internal business systems and IT infrastructure. This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic oversight, ideal for someone who can align technology with business goals in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the technology roadmap for practice management, document management, and case management systems.
2. Oversee system integrations, workflow automation, and data interoperability across platforms.
3. Manage IT infrastructure, devices, Microsoft 365, and SaaS applications, ensuring reliability and security.
4. Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and regulatory standards; support audits and risk management.
5. Drive IT projects, change requests, and adoption of new tools while defining KPIs for performance and service delivery.
6. Lead a small, high-performing team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
7. 5+ years in IT leadership or enterprise systems management, ideally in law firms or professional services.
8. Hands-on experience with practice management, ERP, or CRM platforms.
9. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and device management.
10. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
11. Proven ability to lead small teams and deliver IT change in complex environments.
Desirable:
12. Experience with software integration, automation, or low-code platforms.
13. Exposure to vendor management and IT procurement.
14. Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
