Civils Site Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civils Site Manager to lead and manage day‑to‑day operations across a range of civil engineering and groundwork projects. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality work safely, efficiently, and on time, ensuring projects meet specifications and exceed expectations.
You’ll be joining a well‑established civil engineering team known for delivering earthworks, drainage systems, concrete foundations, and more across diverse sectors including infrastructure, residential, commercial and public projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage on‑site operations to deliver civil engineering and groundwork projects from start to finish.
* Coordinate subcontractors, operatives, plant and materials to maintain project progress and quality.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate records, daily logs and reports.
* Communicate effectively with project teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
What You’ll Need
* Proven site management experience in civils, groundworks or civil engineering projects.
* Strong leadership, organisational and team‑management skills.
* Excellent understanding of health & safety standards and site operations.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Manager Card).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to interpret drawings and project specifications accurately.
