Senior Structural Engineer – Leeds My client is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience to join their Leeds office. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in structural design across various materials and sectors, along with excellent leadership, communication, and client coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and institutional developments. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient design solutions. Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure coordinated and successful project outcomes. Represent the company at client meetings, design reviews, and site visits, taking a proactive role in technical discussions and decision-making. Support business development activities by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new project opportunities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote sustainability in design practices. Work towards personal and professional development goals, including progression towards chartership and potential future leadership responsibilities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum of 75years’ experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building structures. Proficiency in the design and analysis of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures. Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and proficiency in structural analysis and design software. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and control project budgets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and design teams.
