URGENT START – Senior Support Worker Needed
Area: Tipton (DY4)Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rota – 35 hours per weekShift Hours: 07:30–14:30 & 14:30–22:00(Must be fully flexible, including weekends)Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of the elderly with learning and physical disabilities? We’re looking for a caring, confident, and experienced Senior Support Worker to join a warm, supportive management team at one of our client's care homes. This role offers an immediate start.About the Role
You’ll be providing high‑quality, person‑centred care within a friendly care centre environment and supporting the support workers on your shift as a manager. Your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Supporting adults with learning & physical disabilities
2. Assisting with eating and drinking
3. Providing personal care, including toileting
4. Encouraging and engaging in in-house andmunity activities
5. Supporting with Medication Administration and Manual Handling
6. Ensuring health & safety, including acting as apetent Fire Marshal during your shift
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves hands‑on support and wants a role with real purpose.Requirements – You MUST Have:
7. Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care minimum
8. At least 6 months' experience in a similar support role within the last 2 years
9. Up-to-date Manual Handling, Standard Care Training, Medication Administration, and Fire Marshalling knowledge/awareness
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
11. Reliability andmitment to the full shift pattern
