We are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our team.
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to learn and develop your skills in early years education. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in childcare and gain a recognised qualification in the field. You will be an integral part of our team, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
* Support the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, naps, and outdoor play
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
* Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Observe and record children's progress and development
* Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment
* Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
* A passion for working with young children
* A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Basic understanding of child development and early years practices
* Willingness to undertake training and study towards an early years qualification
* Previous experience in a childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
