We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. Your primary focus will be on assisting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
* Help maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
* Follow care plans to ensure that each client's individual needs are met effectively.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client status.
* Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in care practices.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
* Proficiency in English is required for clear communication with clients and colleagues.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are necessary.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
