Job Description
3. Monitor and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
4. Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment arrangements.
5. Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and transactions.
6. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
7. Prepare regular reports on credit control activities for the finance team.
8. Support the accounting and finance department with administrative tasks as required.
9. Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
11. Previous experience in a credit control or similar role within accounting and finance.
12. Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
13. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
14. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
16. An organised and methodical approach to tasks.
17. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
