This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary of £18,500 to £21,000, depending on experience, with the opportunity for career progression and a permanent contract after a successful probation period. You’ll be working in the school’s resource base, supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include: Student Support: Provide tailored assistance to students in the resource base. Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities. Individual Guidance: Offer one-on-one support to help students overcome learning challenges. Flexibility: Adapt to the evolving needs of students and the school environment. Training: Access to training provided by GSL Education to equip you with essential SEN support skills. What We’re Looking in SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or a strong understanding of SEN procedures is desirable.
