Overview
This role is accountable for the End User Computing (EUC) elements for Nomad Foods, including training over 2000 office workers and educating all users on technology deployment. It is a highly visible and influential role within Nomad Foods.
The EUC, Collaboration & Personal Productivity Technology Lead will report to the Service Operations Manager. Responsibilities include identifying, designing, and delivering new end user computing and productivity solutions, reviewing and aligning existing platforms, and overseeing deployment through internal teams or third-party partners.
The role involves working with the Tech team to ensure service stability, engaging with senior stakeholders and internal customers at all levels, and supporting multiple locations supported by Nomad Foods Group Technology.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of the EUC agenda: hardware, software deployment, updates, and support for third-party services.
* Manage a budget of approximately €1-2M.
* Define yearly projects to improve ways of working for white-collar workers, including training and communication initiatives.
* Build relationships with executive teams and their assistants to ensure tailored support.
* Ensure EUC licensing is current and within budget.
* Proactively manage audits and controls related to EUC to achieve zero deficiencies.
* Collaborate across Europe with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to anticipate needs and identify technological opportunities.
* Advise teams and partners on solutions, staying updated on technology trends to enhance IT capabilities and reduce costs.
* Support transition of new services into production and ongoing review of existing tools.
* Plan and facilitate training for new systems, creating user guides and delivering content via multiple channels.
* Coordinate with Communications teams to deliver technology updates and external training as needed.
* Support the delivery of quarterly CEO webcasts and other internal communications initiatives.
* Participate in governance meetings with vendors and third-party providers, making strategic decisions regarding solutions.
Qualifications
* Graduate-level IT professional with at least 10 years of experience in service, infrastructure, or technology roles within corporate or service provider environments.
* Experience working in international, fast-paced settings.
* Strong knowledge of core and emerging IT technologies and their business applications.
* Proven ability to deploy technology across international organizations to deliver value.
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
* Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
* Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to non-technical audiences.
* FMCG experience is preferred.
* Experience working with outsourced and offshore service providers in an international context.
* Proficiency with Office 365, telephony, and networking technologies.
