*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitised.
* Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
* Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
