Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
The Role:
As a Chassis Engineering Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of chassis systems across vehicle programmes, to help ensure the team deliver on time. You’ll help cross-functional teams and interface with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier partners to deliver the project.
Note this role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract
Area of Responsibility
* Supporting non-technical issue resolution to ensure the delivery of Chassis commodities, features and attributes.
* Working with external engineering teams and suppliers to deliver world-class components, focusing on planning, scheduling, change management, risk and issue management.
* Provide daily administrative management of the project.
* Support the project monitoring and tracking of activities including compiling and reviewing project metrics.
* Develop and maintain project related databases and reports.
* Design and support project coordination meetings, events, prepare presentations in support of project needs.
* Work closely with the project manager/members and the cross-functional groups to identify and resolve issues related to the project.
Knowledge / Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering
· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and engineering documentation
