Overview
The Solutions Engineer for the Zoom Developer Platform will be part of the EMEA Build Platform team, focusing on driving adoption of Zoom's developer products. This customer-facing role combines technical expertise and software engineering skills to assist customers and partners in creating solutions using Zoom APIs, SDKs, and Developer Pack. Responsibilities include collaborating with the sales team as a technical expert throughout the sales cycle and providing post-sale integration support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to customer satisfaction.
About The Team
The Build Platform team is a Specialist organization driving the company\'s acceleration, delivering cutting-edge CPaaS solutions for clients across all sectors. The team engages with clients worldwide, expanding Zoom\'s global presence and ensuring enterprises and developers harness the full potential of real-time communications through strategic partnerships and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
* Serving as the technical lead for our Zoom Developer Platform sales efforts in EMEA.
* Partnering with the sales team to uncover customer needs, identify business challenges, and articulate how Zoom\'s APIs and SDKs can create solutions.
* Conducting in-depth technical demonstrations, proof of concept, and custom presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Providing expert guidance on integration architecture and best practices, offering code examples and development support in various programming languages.
* Acting as a trusted technical advisor, building relationships with our customers\' engineering and product teams.
* Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback, influence the product roadmap, and ensure our solutions meet market demands.
* Responding to technical inquiries, RFPs, and RFIs, ensuring all information is accurate and aligned with customer requirements.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
* Have good practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Have hands-on experience in building applications with APIs and SDKs.
* Have experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
* Have a good understanding of web and mobile development technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Swift, Kotlin, etc.) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Have good knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Have excellent communication skills in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region (e.g., German, French).
