This is a part-time position working on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 3:30pm (16 hours per week).
Your responsibilities include producing high-standard food within set time and financial targets, and stepping into the Head Chef’s role when needed. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop new initiatives to improve standards.
Enthusiastic about food, you’ll research innovative ideas, contribute to menu planning, and delight our customers. You’re an effective communicator who promotes team spirit and company culture, and can adapt your work pace as needed. With a strong customer focus, you’ll gather feedback to measure success and are committed to continuous learning through workshops and forums. Your kitchen management skills are at a basic level, and you’re eager to improve and grow.
Requirements include relevant experience, education to C&G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent, Food Safety and Health & Safety certificates at level 2, and knowledge of COSHH & HACCP. Two years’ experience in a similar-sized operation and some supervisory experience are advantageous. Bartlett Mitchell supports your career development and training.
