Farm Machinery Operator
Location: Fife, Scotland.
Salary:£27,500 - £28,500 basic salary (dependent on experience). Total earnings £35,000 - £38,500+ per year including seasonal overtime.
Employment: Permanent full-time position. Probationary period with hourly overtime; after successful completion a salaried package will be agreed.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality service to customers.
* Operate farm machinery including Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors and attached implements for primary and secondary cultivations.
* Carry out spraying and fertiliser applications with a trailed Horch Leeb.
* Carry out relief combining using Claas Lexion 7600.
* Plant and harvest potatoes with Grimme and Standen machinery.
* Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on tractors and equipment.
* Collaborate with the arable team to plan and execute field operations.
* Undertake general farm work such as trailer work, irrigation, excavator and loader work.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Tractor Operator or Tractor Driver.
* Cultivation experience.
* Spraying experience.
* PA1, PA2, PA4S&G certifications.
* Telehandler ticket.
* Familiar with GPS-guided machinery and precision farming technologies.
* Flexible to assist with tasks such as irrigation, drainage, etc.
* Flexible to work extended hours, including weekends during peak seasons.
* Valid driving licence.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical condition for varied weather.
* Workshop skills.
