Electrician North London Foundation Trust St Ann’s hospital St Ann's Rd, London N15 3TH Band 5 - £16.53 per hour Working Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 12:30 & 13:30 – 16:45, Friday: 08:00 – 12:30 & 13:30 – 15:30 About the Role We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Craftsperson (Electrical) to join our Estates & Facilities team at Nottingham University Hospitals. This role is crucial in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and installation of essential electrical systems within our healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities · Perform electrical installations of plant and services, including wiring ballasts · Conduct fault-finding and repairs on heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems · Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections · Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and Trust policies · Maintain workshops, stores, boiler rooms, and plant areas to high standards · Identify and order necessary stock and materials · Operate and maintain tools, PPE, and work equipment · Use PDA systems to log completed jobs and test results You’ll have the following skills/experience: · NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent · Experience in electrical maintenance and installation · Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, generators, and heating systems · Ability to read and understand technical drawings · Strong problem-solving skills for fault-finding and repairs · Commitment to health & safety standards · Full UK driving licence (preferred) Who are NHS Professionals?
