Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Production Team. This is a hands-on role focused on the assembly, testing, and commissioning of low voltage DC electrical systems used in our electric tugs. You will work closely with production colleagues to assemble wiring looms, install and test control panels, motors, and other electrical components, ensuring every tug meets quality, safety, and operational standards before it leaves the factory. This role is ideal for a practical, skilled technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in seeing their work directly contribute to finished, high-quality products. Responsibilities: · Assemble and wire electrical systems for electric tugs, including wiring looms, switches, relays, motors, and control panels · Read and interpret schematic drawings and harness diagrams to guide production assembly · Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation · Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on production units as needed · Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports · Operate cranes and handle heavy components safely within production · Assist with stock, inventory, and goods in/out processes Who we're looking for You are a practical, detail-oriented technician who thrives in a production environment. You enjoy assembling, testing, and commissioning electrical systems, solving problems on the shop floor, and contributing to a team delivering high-quality products.
