Please note a Driving Licence + Own Vehicle is Essential for these roles* About the Role We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality support to young people (aged 16-18) within the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. We have two Support Worker opportunities available on a Temporary - Permanent basis, and the positions offer an immediate start for the successful applicant. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. The aim of the role is to support the young individuals transition to independence by creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that meets Ofsted standards and promotes the young people’s emotional, physical, and social well-being. You will work directly with young people who may have experienced trauma, family breakdowns, or are leaving care, helping them to develop essential life skills, access education, training, and employment, and address their emotional and behavioural needs.
