A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor (3–7 years’ PQE) to join its expanding team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to work on a broad range of non-contentious and/or contentious construction matters, depending on experience, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on construction contracts and project documentation
* Drafting and negotiating building contracts, appointments, and collateral warranties
* Advising on JCT and NEC contract suites
* Handling construction-related disputes (where applicable)
* Supporting developers, contractors, funders, and consultants
* Working on high-value residential and commercial development projects
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to progress matters efficiently
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* 3–7 years’ PQE in construction law
* Experience in contentious, non-contentious, or mixed construction work
* Strong technical knowledge of construction contracts
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
