Job Role: Electrical Supervisor
Location: HMP Wayland- Thompson Road, Griston Thetford IP256RL
Salary: £46,775.42 with on call working
Contract: Full time/Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Wayland, a Category C & Adult/Male prison. We are a Ministry Of Justice Business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor with a combination of the following qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical maintenance activities within HMP Wayland as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
* Collaborate with trades such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators to ensure a safe and secure environment.
* Contribute to delivering a safe and secure operation and support the rehabilitation and positive change mission.
Qualifications
* Five years’ experience as an electrician or equivalent
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
* Experience of supervising staff
* Full driving license preferably with D1
* C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
