We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our Commercial team in Birmingham, covering the Gloucestershire catchment.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will develop and promote the company’s hiring business, supporting in achieving KPIs and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Relationship building is key to this role.
You will be highly organised, driven, tenacious, a self-starter, confident, and reliable. Experienced in business development, customer service, and sales (office-based). You will work in a supportive environment with positive and helpful colleagues.
Essential Experience - This role involves targeted calling campaigns and contacting prospective customers as part of a structured business development approach, using a blend of resources. The aim is to develop relationships with existing and new customers and create new sales opportunities.
As Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities include:
* Carrying out structured business development, local and national campaigns, including winning new business within the designated area to achieve order targets.
* Reviewing and finalising quotations and drawings against customer requirements.
* Following up on live quotations to generate urgency and advance clients to order.
* Responding to customer enquiries to generate orders.
* Maximising added value for every opportunity by promoting the full range of Building Services.
* Completing customer care programmes to ensure maximum satisfaction, business continuity, and referral opportunities.
* Proven solid business development experience and confidence in building new relationships.
* Accepting and tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm.
* Following up and closing sales quotations confidently.
* Building a wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organisation.
* Using strong IT skills to effectively operate internal systems, keeping customer information up to date.
* Possessing a Full UK Driving Licence.
