We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager to join the HR Team at Nationwide Platforms.
As the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager, you will lead efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Responsibilities include designing and executing recruitment strategies, enhancing employee development programs, and aligning talent initiatives with the organisation's goals and culture.
In return, you will receive a salary up to £65,000 DOE, a company car or cash allowance of £8,750, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, an Auto Enrolment Pension scheme, BUPA Medical Care, Life Assurance, and lifestyle benefits such as discounts on high street stores.
Frequent travel is required; therefore, the ideal candidate should be located near major motorway networks (M4, M6, M40, M1).
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates across all levels.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels for both common and difficult-to-fill roles.
3. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to align talent strategies with business goals.
4. Design, implement, and evaluate training and development programs to support employee growth and organisational objectives.
5. Lead succession planning and career development strategies to retain top performers.
6. Develop and deliver an employer branding and positioning strategy to increase candidate attraction and brand awareness.
7. Develop assessment and profiling tools at the job family level.
8. Work with HR Business Partners to develop seamless onboarding and induction procedures that improve productivity and reduce short-service voluntary turnover.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* An understanding of business performance and the ability to contribute positively to the company's success, focusing on impactful areas to the P&L.
* The ability to anticipate future business requirements based on regional trends and internal dynamics.
* Experience in developing and responding to manpower plans.
* Effective use of networks and contacts to meet business requirements.
* A background in sales and/or a commercial business environment.
* Strong tactical resourcing and recruitment experience, especially within a blue-collar environment.
* The ability to be the 'face of NWP' to attract passive talent, with a proven track record of sourcing passive candidates through multiple channels.
* Detailed knowledge of direct sourcing and attraction strategies.
