Job Description
A food manufacturing company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join their team covering London based routes working 09.00 17.00, Monday to Friday.
As the Field Sales Representative you will:
* Actively generate new business through cold calling, lead sourcing, and prospecting within your assigned territory.
* Drive a company-owned van to visit customers, delivering products while upselling and cross-selling to maximise order value.
* Build strong relationships with existing clients, identifying growth opportunities and increasing sales volumes.
* Present and demonstrate products effectively and highlighting key benefits and promotions.
* Identify new prospect customers and close deals to achieve monthly sales targets.
* Maintain detailed records of sales calls, lead activity, and customer conversations using sales software or a CRM.
* Monitor new market trends, new product opportunities, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expansion.
* Keep the delivery van organised, clean, and well-maintained, reporting issues promptly.
We are looking for a Field Sales Representative with:
* Proven experience in sales, ideally in a field-based or route sales environment.
* Strong cold-calling and lead-generation skills with the confidence to approach new prospects.
* Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
* Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record.
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trust quickly.
* Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Strong organisational skills with accurate record-keeping abilities.
In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus commission and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
