Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Naval Architecture/Ship Science/Maritime Engineering.

What you'll be doing
* Naval architects design and maintain ships, and support safe operation throughout their life.
* Designing structural changes, including using FEA.
* Taking part in inclining experiments to assess the stability of ships.
* Contributing to stability analyses using specialist software.
* Contributing to the dry docking of ships.
* Helping inspect ships to understand their state of repair and propose repair solutions.
